Weekly Farmers Market

Portadown Market is part of the very fabric of the town, starting off as a traditional, open-air operation.
The indoor market at the corner of Market and William Street dates back to 1929, and at the turn of the Millennium, it moved in to William Street’s Millennium Court.

We also host Sustain, an eco-market promoting local green businesses and encouraging a more sustainable lifestyle.​ Sustain traders stock products that are sustainable, responsible and ethical.

About Us

Portadown 2000 offers a comprehensive suite of economic and art initiatives aimed at addressing the decline of the town centre and wider Portadown Area. We encourage social cohesion, facilitate shared space, social integration and community development. Our services centre on encouraging interests of social; welfare and the improvement of well-being, quality of life, and fostering understanding, peace and reconciliation.​ Portadown 2000 organises, sponsors and conducts educational and training courses,   
meetings, conferences and exhibitions and other
​events including civic and cultural activities.

Millennium Court Arts Centre

MCAC contains two purpose built gallery spaces providing a platform for showcasing contemporary works by local, national and international artists. We also offer a variety of paid classes, workshops and events for both children and adults to cultivate and enhance the cultural environment of the community.

​Enlighten is a leading-edge project that has entrepreneurship and business as its focus, partnering with schools, job clubs and community groups within the Neighbourhood Renewal Areas of Portadown, Brownlow and Lurgan.

Portadown 2000 manages a small number of retail units to let on William Street and Market Street. These are incubation units aimed at new businesses with their reasonable rent and excellent town centre location.
Current tenants include:
Zio Restaurant, Beauty By Mac Twice as Nice Hair & Beauty, Classic Blinds, Relaxia, and Magic Nails.

Other Services

Portadown 2000 houses a Tourist Information Point and Ticketmaster​ outlet in the reception area.
